Hunt Horse Prospect for Sale

9 yr old Shire/thoroughbred cross with 1/4 appaloosa. Nearly 16.3, grey, with some black spots on his lower legs. He is registered with the appaloosa sport horse society. Papers available. He is handsome, sweet, and loves the company of other horses.

Owner bought him as a 4 yr old, in Virginia, where he was foaled. He rode trails and did some competitive trail rides, and also jumping. Owner must sell due to health concerns. Asking $6000, located in Palm City, Florida

Since January the horse (harley, registered name Harlequin) has been with a jumping instructor, and he's ridden 5 days a week. He has jumped some coops but not actually foxhunted. He has great scope and niether height nor width bothers him, he loves to jump.

TRF has two sound (unraced), coming 5 year old mares for adoption.

Red is 15.1 or 2 and is very smart and athletic. She can walk/trot/canter, is working on leg yields, jumping gymnastic exercises in the ring and logs on trails. Has been on one BRH trail ride, and will start working on her changes this week. Not for a beginner. Pretty enough for the show ring.

Brown is just shy of 16 hands, and larger of bone. She will make a lovely field hunter, with experience. She too can w/t/c and is working on leg yields. She trail rides and hops small fences (though she does have a very big jump in there - I've seen it) and has started gymnastic work. Again, she is young and inexperienced and not for a beginner.
