The
Tinker Lyman benefit was a great success! Lots of great friends and
horse people enjoyed the great music of the band named Foul Play and food by
Chuisano Italian Table.
Tinker has a benefit account at the Rappahannock National Bank 7 Bank Road

If you missed the Pachanga at the club house it is not too late to
contribute and get into heaven. Please send checks to the bank.
Rapidan River Pony Club (RRPC) is recruiting new members. The RRPC is
very team oriented and needs new members to help make the teams. Please
contact Laura Cooley at 540/727-0742 (before 8:00 PM please) or autumnchasefarm@hotmail.com
It is trail ride season! Please check with John Taylor or
Jeanette Walls (540/ 727-7727 call really really late in the morning ) if you can
help with food drinks or supervision. Everyone is welcome; there is
something for everyone. This is a great time to discover new fixtures and
find friends in the hunt field before the hair raising high speed hunting
season that makes your eyes water. Check the dates to the left and mark them
in your calendar. Check back here for some fun pictures of the various trail
rides.

June 24 Belle Plaine Farm • From Culpeper take Rt. 15 toward Orange 12 miles to left onto Forest Dr.
July 8 The Hill • From Culpeper take US 522 N toward Sperryville approximately 7.5 miles to a left at the bottom of the hill in the sharp curve onto the farm.
July 22 Birmingham Farm • Route 29 south approximately 4.5 miles from Culpeper to a right onto Birmingham Rd (at Reva Volumteer Fire Dept.) .5 mile to farm at end of road.

Come join the Bull Run Hunt for a Thursday morning wander through their Hunt Country. The rides are very quiet by design to introduce young horses and less experienced riders to cross country riding, as well as a chance for everyone to enjoy a quiet trail ride with friends. Rides leave promptly at 8AM and we will ask that everyone stay together for the hour and a half to two hour ride. We will attempt to introduce as many cross country issues to the group as possible. Drinks will be provided by Blue Ridge Trailer Sales, but feel free to bring a snack to share.

Farewell
to War Lord
Our trusted
buddy passed away last week after a serious retirement at the Waddy home. He
was pampered like no one could imagine. Days were filled with laying on the
couch and a life of leisure. War Lord was a very distinguished hound and all
of us knew his cry. Please give Adrianna your condolences.
